Thank you so much for providing this beautiful cottage for us to stay in. From here we easily had the most amazing trips – and rested peacefully on return to our cottage. The beautiful tropical fruits were a special treat. The snorkelling gear – perfect! Highlights from outings include: Mauna Kea beach (great snorkelling), Kawaihae (a beautiful sunset), Waipio Valley hiking, Hapuna beach (good surf), Anaeho’omalu Bay (sea turtles), Kahalu’u beach (about 30 turtles), Capt. This wonderful cottage exceeded our expectations, truly. Your attention to detail and the many extras provided made us smile. You think of everything! Besides that, we found this to be a perfect location to explore in many directions without the crowds in other places nearby. Waimea (Kamuela) is a lot more relaxed town than Kona, yet had everything we needed. We look forward to seeing you again. Dennis (and Lorna), Mt Vernon, Washington. …

What a relaxing, private home from which to enjoy this different and so beautiful island! Far from the maddening crowds, near to friendly folks, this cottage made for a fine restfull vacation. Our hosts provided us with all we needed and more.
We were comfortable,
felt peace in this quiet atmosphere ...and we'll take this with us as a reminder
that we must return soon.

We completely enjoyed our stay at your cottage. It was so very comfortable and well-equipped (!) - and it
felt like we were staying with family who really wanted us to have a good time! We made good use of the
cooler and ice packs you thoughtfully provided and had many fabulous days at places you recommended (e.g.,
Beach 69, Hapuna Beach...many more included). We loved being able to use the snorkle gear (so glad that
we didn't lug our own all the way here) and other gear you stock the cottage with. It was always nice to
come "home" at the end of a hot day to this comfortable climate ...we especally had great sleeps!

We've had a wonderful 4 days at this cottage - our first family trip to Hawaii has been fabulous so far -
thanks to you. Highlights: boogie boarding at Hapuna Beach (the best waves), hiking down to Polulu Valley
and then lunch in the cute village of Hawi. We're off to Volcano now. Thank you for all your hospitality
an d all the comforts you provided in this cosy cottage. The kids also enjoyed everything so much.

Much mahalo! What a wonderful spot to stay for the last five days of our vacation. We have had a great
time. The drive to Hawi from your cottage was beautiful and Hawi itself charming and interesting. We had
a chance to watch a "trash fashion show" (fun). The east coast of the island is so different; lush, green
(wet...rain) and quite beautiful. We drove to Akaka Falls and enjoyed the pizza at "Lisa's Pizza
Restaurant" in the tiny vintage town there. We tried many of "Mr Ed's" homemade jams (excellent). Looking
forward to having pancakes with the coconut jam when I get home. The shopping in Kona was fantastic.
Wish I could stay longer to shop more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.

Perfect! We could not be happier with our time here. Everything was as promised and better. We lived in more than comfort...it was subtle luxury. In your cottage, our accommodation was comparable to the high-end hotel suites we have tried, but we also had the privacy and peace and quiet we sought that hotels lack. The Island's activites here are easyily reached and we're delighted that we based ourselves here for the entire stay - we saved hundreds of dollars and we had a first-class vacation. This will be our home away from home for all our future visits to the Big Island.

Island-hopping was great and landing in your place was the best to end our vacation. We need to come back. This island is awesome. Thank you again for a lovely stay. We loved being here. Mauna Kea beach was gorgeous, in particular. It was my favorite beach among the many here. It was so near ....so easy to pop down for a morning swim before heading out for a day of adventure, and then to catch the sunset there in the evening....drink in hand...mesmerizsd by the beauty. What a wonderful, adventure-filled vacation! We did and saw so many wonderful things and because our days were so full, we appreciated knowing that we had "our little house" to come back to each day. Thank you for all you did to make our stay so special - the "aloha" welcome, beautiful flowers in the cottage, and basket of fresh fruit! Crickets are chirping. Birds are singing. Stars are blinking down on us. The wind is making music in the breezes. What a wonderful place to spend important time of rest during the year….ahhhh vacations!
