Time Zone

The state of Hawaii has it's own time zone – Hawaii Standard Time. Hawaii doesn't observe Daylight Savings like the rest of U.S. time zones, so here is a quick guide to help you with the time zone differences:

When Daylight Savings is in effect (approximately May - Oct)…in the USA:

Hawaii is	behind...	Time Zone
3 hours		Pacific
4 hours		Mountain
5 hours		Central
6 hours		Eastern

When Daylight Savings is NOT in effect (approximately Nov - Apr)…in the USA:

Hawaii is	behind...	Time Zone
2 hours		Pacific
3 hours		Mountain
4 hours		Central
5 hours		Eastern

Weather

The State of Hawaii is blessed with a moderate tropical climate with year-round temperatures averaging 75 degrees Fahrenheit, northeasterly tradewinds, and warm ocean waters.
Hawaii’s Big Island is not only the largest of all the Hawaiian Islands, it has the most varied weather from tropical to desert terrain and just about everything in between, 11 climate zones in altitudes ranging from sea level to 13,796 feet (4,200 m).
